She moved to Morrow County in 1952. A registered nurse, her nursing nickname was "Cory." She was one of the original nurses at the Morrow County Hospital when it opened in 1952. During her nursing career, she worked for Dr. Brody, Dr. Hickson, the Morrow County Health Department, and she was Director of Nurses at Jane M. Case Hospital (Grady Memorial) in Delaware. She had also worked at the Lutheran Memorial Camp as the camp nurse. She is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Hoffman of Broken Arrow, Okla., John (Carole) Hoffman of Fredericktown; two daughters, Gloria (Robert) Corbitt of Deerfield and Sheryle (Robert) Bailey of Mount Gilead; 11 grandchildren, David, Deanne, Kim, Kelly, Nancy, Laura, Christine, Jim, Sabrina, Eric and Andrea; and 13 great-grandchildren.
