First: I order and direct that all my just debts and Funeral Expenses be paid by my executor hereinafter named.

She died in childbirth with her 13th child, the Port Arthur Burial Register records Harriet as wife of Assistant Superintendent Chatfield. Harriet spoke four languages, was a musician and vocalist.' (N.B. Light did not make a return voyage as he stayed in Adelaide after his arrival in 1836, dying there.)
