Originally buried in Armbruster Methodist Episcopal Church Cemetery. Union Cemetery lists Abraham Loy's name in their records twice, but without a date of relocation or reinterment. None of the 19th century Loy family members appear in the main book. It's likely all members of this family were transferred from a family plot in [Clinton Chapel] to Union Cemetery and reinterred one or two graves, without any attempt to identify individual boxes. Laura Evelyn Thompson, age 84, of Independence, Missouri formerly of Warrensburg, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2009 at the Grove's Nursing Home in Independence.

She was born on May 11, 1925, in Warrensburg, the daughter of Leo and Nellie Holloway Coffman.

On July 20, 1945, she was united in marriage to Carl J. Thompson. He preceded her in death on May 15, 1953.

Mrs. Thompson worked for Dr. James Whiteman as a bookkeeper and Office Manager. She retired in 1988.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, J.L. Coffman; two sisters: Carol Gillam and Dona Downing and a nephew Michael Gillam
