NINETIETH BIRTHDAY.

Mrs Thomas McKee.
The members or the family of Mrs J. McKee (widow of the late Mr. Thomas McKee, of Wallaroo) met at the residence of her daughter and son-in-law (Mr and Mrs Eric Gaskell), Golilands terrace, Glenelg, to do honor and to celebrate the 90th birthday of Mrs McKee, on November 28 1943.
Born at Thebarton, and married at Wallaroo, Mr and Mrs McKee were active for many years in Wallaroo, where they reared a large family, who served the town in many spheres of usefulness. Since the death of her husband Mrs McKee has resided in Adelaide. Like her brother (the late ex-Mayor George Chatfield) she retains remarkable vitality and entered into the celebrations of her 90th birthday with all the zest of youth. A very happy time was spent with the member's of the family, and a buffet tea was served at which the birthday cake was cut by the guest of honor.
