FUNERAL NOTICE:
CHATFIELD.-The friends of the late Mr. Frederick Thomas CHATFIELD, of Swan-road, Caversham, are respectfully informed that his remains will be interred in the Methodist portion of the Karrakatta Cemetery at 11.30 am. TO-MORROW (Monday) MORNING. The funeral is appointed to leave his late residence. Swan-road, Caversham, at 9.50 a.m. proceeding to the Caversham Methodist Church, thence to the Cemetery. Friends desirous of atending the funeral may proceed by the train leaving Midland Junction at 10.14 a.m, and Perth at 11 a. m. .

CHATFIELD.—On April 4, 1936, at Caversham, Frederick Thomas, the dearly loved husband of Norah Alicia CHATFIELD, loving father of Cecil (Bencubbin), Elsie (Mrs. W. E. Logue, Caversham), Florrie (Mrs. A. McDonald, Bassendean), Hilda (Mrs. J. Latto, Tinindewa), Dick (Collie), Tom (Caversham) and Ethel (deceased), fond pal of Dorcas (Mrs. R. Ducas), granddad of Leslie, Dick, Bob, Elaine, Fred, Spencer, Ethel, Ena, Ted, Ron, Kevin, Pat, Ruth, Rose, Douglas. Marion and David, pal of Keys, Zoe and Trevor; aged 82 years.

FUNERAL.
The Late Mr. F. T. Chatfield.
The funeral of the late Mr. Frederick Thomas CHATFIELD, of Caversham, took place on April 6. leaving his late residence, Swan-road, for the Karrakatta Cemetery at 9.50 a.m. Previous to its departure, the Rev. Linley conducted a short service at the Caversham Methodist Church. The remains of Mr Chatfleld were followed by a large and representative body of citizens. As the cortege passed the Caversham school the whole of the scholars formed in lines on each side of the road. The chief mourners were the widow, Mrs. Norah A. Chatfield. Messrs. F. C. Chatfield. H. R. Chatfield and T. A. Chatfield (sons), and Mesdames W. E. Logue and F. S. McDonald (daughters). At the cemetery the Rev. C. Butler officiated and during the service spoke in terms of the deceased gentleman which were heartily endorsed by all present. The family received a large number of telegrams and letters expressing condolence, and the numerous wreaths placed upon the coffin testified to the sorrow felt at the the demise of such an old colonist. The late Mr. Chatfield leaves a widow, three sons and three daughters, and seventeen grandchildren.
