An Army veteran, Wallace was employed with Brace-Mueller-Huntley for 28 years and retired from Crucible Steel. He was a lifetime member of the Camillus Fire Department, where he volunteered for 25 years. Wallace was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Wallace was predeceased by his wife of 62 years, the former Catherine Losurdo, in 2016; parents, Azubah and Robert Rockwell; brother, Robert Rockwell Jr.; twin brother, Willard Rockwell; and twin sisters, Norma Taylor and Barbara Pelky. Surviving are his children, Ann Marie (John) Chatfield, Wallace J. Rockwell Jr., Peter Rockwell, Constance (Robert) Kuppel, Edward (Lynn) Rockwell, Patricia (Chris) DeSantis, Daniel (MaryKaren) Rockwell and Christina Rockwell Bandera; 22 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
