Richard D. Rhine, 82, of Bunker Hill, Indiana passed away at 7:10 AM, Monday, March 25, 2013, at Caring Hands Health and Rehab of Peru. He was born in Cass County on March 17, 1931, the son of Harry and Cressa House Rhine. Richard married Faye Savage on May 27, 1950, and she preceded him in death on July 13, 1978.

He married Pauline Miller Myers on March 17, 1979, and she survives.

Richard was a graduate of Galveston High School, and a member of the Howard-Miami Mennonite Church. He was a retired Chrysler employee.

Richard enjoyed wood working, and was an avid fisherman. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and a staunch supporter of his grandchildren and great-grand children evidenced by his frequent presence at school and sport functions.

Surviving in addition to his wife Pauline, are sons: Ricky Rhine and his wife Deb of Mexico, IN, Rodney Rhine and his wife Brenda of Louisville, KY, step-children: Cheryl Steinborn and her husband Ken of Clayton, IN, Teresa Miller and her husband Carey of Kokomo, IN , Ann Graber of Bunker Hill, IN, Thomas Myers and his wife Marjorie of Marseilles, IL, Brent Myers and his wife Kimberly of Bunker Hill, IN, Alan Myers and his wife Sharon of Kokomo, IN, and Krista Bradley and her husband Wayne of Kokomo, IN. 26 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren also survive. Mrs. Ella Chatfield -- Services Planned For Wednesday
Mrs. Ella M. Chatfield, 87, of Route 2, East Troy, (Adams) passed away Sunday morning at Burlington Hospital after being admitted two days before.

Born at Mukwonago on Nov. 9, 1882, the daughter of Frederick and Amanda Rhode, she was raised in this area and after her graduation from East Troy High School in 1900 she taught school in this area several years. On Dec. 4, 1907, she was united in marriage to Seneca Chatfield at the Home Farmstead in East Troy Township. The couple farmed in the Adams area until his death in 1961.

She is survived by four foster children: Miss Pearl Barker at home; Mrs. Delberta Bigelow, of Denver, Colorado; Mrs. Lorraine Schuman of Camp Douglas, Wis., and Harold Bellas of Wausau; one brother Earl Rhode of Route 2, Burlington, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 at the Anderson Memorial Home with Rev. Richard Davis of LaGrange United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be at Adams Cemetery.

Mrs. Chatfield was a charter member of the LaGrange United Methodist Church.

The Chatfield's were an interesting and generous family. For years they hosted the Chatfield family reunions. Seneca dug the graves by hand for those whose families wished to bury their relatives in Adams Cemetery.

Myers, Florida, Chris Johnson of Upper Sandusky and Chas (Bob) Nichols of Upper Sandusky.

She is survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins and was preceded in death by her father and two nephews and a niece.

Pammy was a homemaker and for hobbies she enjoyed horses, being outside and tending to her flowers, taking pictures,and spending time with her Peekapoo dog named Peaches.

Pammy's life was centered around people especially her family, whom she lived for. She will be greatly missed by all.

Funeral services for Pamela K. "Pammy" Chatfield, will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, with the Rev. Rick Snyder officiating the service.

CHATFIELD Eira On Tuesday, February 1st 2011, Eira, formerly of Crowden Crescent, Tiverton, passed away peacefully at Margaret Allen House, Tiverton, aged 84 years. Beloved wife of the late Reverend Roderick Chatfield. She will be sadly missed. The funeral service will take place at St. Peter's Church, Tiverton on Friday, February 11th 2011 at 11.00am., followed by interment at Holy Trinity Church, Burrington.
