Hugh was from Scotland immigrating with his parents and siblings about 1914 to Canada. He returned to the UK in WW1 and met Jessie.
Hugh was a lovely man and I have fond memories of him. He was a tinsmith by trade and opened his own sheet metal business Hugh T Reid and Sons still in operation until the 1970s. The middle son Allan changed his name to Reid and inherited the business.
