LEAH D. TRUBY
Mrs. Leah D. Truby, 1513 Sixth street, Portsmouth, died suddenly Sunday morning at 3:30 o'clock following a heart attack at her home. She was a former Ironton resident and well known here, moving to Portsmouth to reside ten years ago. Her husband, William W. preceded her in death three years ago last January.
Mrs. Truby, a Methodist by faith, was active in the church at Portsmouth. She was a daughter of the late Adam and Clara Owrey, pioneer Ironton residents.
Surviving are the following children: Walter W. Truby of Ironton, Mrs. Alfred Patton of Long Island, N.Y., Mrs. E.B. Morton, Wilmington, Del., Mrs. William McMeans, Portsmouth and several grandchildren in addition to Raymond Gesling, who was reared by the deceased. One great grandchild and one sister, Mrs. Z. Sharp of Wheeling, West Virginia.
The body is at the Frank Feuchier funeral home where friends may call after 6 o'clock this evening. Funeral services will be held there Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with the Rev. Marvin Matthews, pastor of Central Christian church here, officiating. Burial will be in Woodland cemetery.
