MR. OWREY'S FUNERAL
All that was mortal of the late Adam Owrey was tenderly laid to an eternal rest Thursday in Woodland cemetery. The sacred rites were conducted at the late residence at Fourth and Park avenue, Rev. B.D. Evans, pastor of the deceased officiating. He paid the dead a glowing tribute of respect and his words were impressively spoken. A choir led by Edward Todd sang several beautiful and favorite hymns of which Mr. Owrey was greatly fond during his life. Many floral offerings were seen and each mutely attested the high esteem in which the deceased was held.
The pall bears were his relatives and were as follows: Joseph Owrey and son, Cyrus, John Lucas, W.H. Owrey and son Will and William Truby.
