Death GRO 4th qtr 1872 St Aubyn, Edward 73 Stoke Damerel 5b 234 ----- (illegit. son of Sir John St Aubyn, 5th Bt., of St Michael's Mount, Cornwall There have been two Baronetcies created for members of the St Aubyn family, one in the Baronetage of England and one in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom. The St Aubyn Baronetcy, of Clowance in the County of Cornwall, was created in the Baronetage of England on 11 December 1671 for John St Aubyn, who later represented St Michaels in the House of Commons. The second Baronet sat as Member of Parliament for Helston, the third Baronet for Cornwall, the fourth Baronet for Launceston and Cornwall and the fifth Baronet for Truro, Penrhyn and Helston. The title became extinct on the latter's death in 1839. His daughter and co-heir was the mother of Reverend Hender Molesworth, who in 1844 assumed by Royal licence the additional surname of St Aubyn and was the father of Sir St Aubyn Hender Molesworth-St Aubyn, 12th Baronet (see Molesworth-St Aubyn Baronets). The St Aubyn Baronetcy, of St Michael's Mount in the County of Cornwall, was created in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom on 31 July 1866 for Edward St Aubyn. He was the illegitimate son of the fifth and last Baronet of the 1671 creation. The St Aubyn Baronetcy, of St Michael's Mount in the County of Cornwall, was created in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom in 1866 for the first Baron's father, Edward St Aubyn. He was the illegitimate son of Sir John St Aubyn, 5th Baronet, of Clowance, on whose death in 1839 the baronetcy of Clowance had become extinct. ===== England and Wales Census, 1851 Name Edward St Aubyn Event Place Stoke Demerel, Devon, England Registration District Stoke Damerel Residence Note Nelson'S Terrace Gender Male Age 50 Marital Status Married Occupation Barrister Not In Active Practice Magistrate Relationship to Head of Household Head Birth Year (Estimated) 1801 Birthplace Middlesex, London Page Number 62 Registration Number HO107 Piece/Folio 1882 / 289 Affiliate Record Type Household Edward St Aubyn Head M 50 Middlesex, London Emma St Aubyn Wife F 45 , Emma St Aubyn Dau F 18 Newport, Essex Edwin St Aubyn Son M 14 Stoke Damerel, Devonshire Edmund St Aubyn Son M 9 Stoke Damerel, Devonshire Juliana St Aubyn Dau F 2 Stoke Damerel, Devonshire William Brior Servant M 50 Bagbury, Somerset Elizabeth Edwards Servant F 40 Millbrook, Cornwall Dianna Pollard Servant F 24 Stoke Damerel, Devonshire Elizabeth Gilburt Servant F 52 Bregna, Cornwall Ann Courtnery Servant F 16 Ballyton, Hampshire Jane Butter F 36 Middlesex, London ----- England and Wales Census, 1871 Name Edward St Aubyn Event Place St George Hanover Square, London, Middlesex, England Enumeration District 45 Gender Male Age 71 Marital Status Married Occupation Baronet Barrister Land Owner Relationship to Head of Household Head Birth Year (Estimated) 1800 Birthplace London Entry Number 5 Affiliate Image Identifier GBC/1871/0114/0107 Edward St Aubyn Head M 71 London Emma St Aubyn Wife F 64 London Emma Wake Dau F 37 Newport, Essex Juliana St Aubyn Dau F 22 Devonport, Devonshire Catherine St Aubyn Dau F 19 Devonport, Devonshire Sybil Wake Granddau F 6 Malvern, Worcestershire Mary Knollys Visitor F 56 Northumberland Antonia Chieti Servant F 45 Italy Sarah Coatt Servant F 34 Bermuda Hermine Durringeu Servant F 24 Ordelsheim, Hesse Thomas Cheshire Servant M 32 Oxton, Middlesex Edward Ridout Servant M 23 Tarrant Sumville, Dorsetshire Charles Cordery Servant M 24 Hackfield, Hampshire Rosa Poole Servant F 29 Curry Rivel, Somerset Judith Middleton Servant F 27 Stockton-On-Tees, Durham Elizabeth Pearce Servant F 22 Lalant, Cornwall Sarah Wright Servant F 29 Sand Hutton, Yorkshire Mary E Blackell Servant F 18 Plymouth, Devonshire Louisa Wright Servant F 14 Stanmore, Middlesex |
