William Tudway Cains married Isabella Whittle, who was born in Ireland abt. 1801, on the 3rd. Feb. 1823 in Sydney, Australia. She was a fellow convict, who had been tried at the Old Bailey in London and transported to Van Dieman's Land. REF Whittle, Isabella. Per Mary Ann 1823, Jan 7 Re Permission to marry at Sydney. Cains, Sarah nee Dumbell (Not nee but name of mother)

NB; The Isabella mentioned here must have been his daughter Isabella who would have been 6 years old. Isabella Whittle had died in Sydney, Aust. 1837.
