SHAFER SADIE JUANITA SHAFER (nee Chatfield), age 75, of North Ridgeville, peacefully passed away on April 21, 2016. She was born on April 23, 1940 to the late Harry and Dorothy Chatfield.
Among many things, Sadie's favorite hobbies included playing bingo, camping and traveling with family and friends. She was an amazing woman who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Sadie was the proud mother to Dottie and Michelle, the stepmother to Sue, grandmother to Talia and Sara, and great-grandmother to Azzie and Jaden. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harless Phillip Shafer, her son, Buddy and her stepchildren, Calvin and Phillip.
VISITATION WILL BE ON HELD ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 27, 2016 FROM 4-8 P.M. AT THE MONREAL FUNERAL HOME, 35400 CURTIS BLVD., EASTLAKE. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 11 a.m. also at the MONREAL FUNERAL HOME. Interment will immediately follow at All Souls Cemetery.
