Harless Philip Shafer, 77, of Perry, passed away Dec. 13, 2012, in Painesville.
He was born Jan. 28, 1935, in Knoxville, Tenn.
Mr. Shafer retired as an inspector for GM at Coit Road and then Euclid, after 38 years of service.
Survivors are his wife of 54 years, Sadie (Chatfield); daughter, Dottie Shafer and Sue Shafer; granddaughters, Talia and Sara; and great-grandchildren, Jaden, Azlynn, Wayne and Bianca.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Harry, Calvin and Phillip Shafer.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd., Eastlake.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
