Robert was the youngest child born to Burton and Mabel (Chaplin) Fuller. He grew up on the family farm 2 miles east of Bonilla and graduated from Bonilla High School in 1936.

Robert married Viola May Parkhurst, in Lake county, IN, Jan. 31, 1942. He passed away Wed. Jan. 5, 2011, at Sun Quest Healthcare Center in Huron, at 91 years of age. Funeral services held Sat. Jan. 8, 2011, at the First Presbyterian Church in Bonilla, Welter Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his wife; six children; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a former sister-in-law, Inez (Harold) Fuller of Mission Viejo, Calif.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters: Ione (Frank) Arneson; Vera (Gerald) McDonald; and infant Ruby; seven brothers: Roe; Ceylon (Edith); Russell; Day, in childhood; Dayton (Justina); Theron (Nellie); and Harold.
