Rudy Jan TEN-TUSSCHER

September 29, 1958 - May 17, 2016

Passed away at the age of 57 at Southlake Residential Care Village, Newmarket following a valiant effort to survive a benign brain tumour. Survived by his dear mother Anne ten-Tusscher, adored sister Tricia CHATFIELD, love and soulmate Jan Miller and treasured daughter Jackie ten-Tusscher. Predeceased by his deeply loved father Frans ten-Tusscher (2010). Rudy was a unique, "out-of-the-box" individual. He made his living specializing in waterline and drain service plumbing having developed a successful company Drains at Work. In later years, Rudy dedicated his life to creating a water filtration and treatment system that he hoped would one day provide clean, healing water globally. Rudy, at his heart, was a gentle soul. He strove to learn from lessons of his past and better himself as a human being. He loved people and nature. He sought ways of inspiring people around him to broaden their horizons beyond the status quo and to choose to dedicate their lives to making a difference for the betterment of humanity. Rudy made a difference in the lives of all he crossed paths with. A Memorial Service will be held at Simple Alternative (275 Lesmill Rd., Toronto) from 12 until 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2016.
