HURON TOWNSHIP - Lilliam Chatfield Slomers, 89, of Huron Township died Friday in Huron Township.
Services will be held Wednesday at Michigan Memorial Park, Huron Township. Brother E.R. Gill, pastor of Church of Christ, New Boston, will officiate. Burial will follow. The Flat Rock chapel of Arthur Bobcean Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Born Dec. 7, 1916, in Ironton, Ohio, she was the daughter of Benjamin and Nancy (Ward) Chatfield. She married Harry Slomers Oct. 2, 1933. He died in 1981.
She was a member and co-founder of Church of Christ of New Boston.
Surviving are a son, Harry III (Barbara) of Camden; three daughters, Nancy (Henry) Drouillard of Wayne, Toni Jean Peters of Romulus and Bonnie Lou Powell of New Boston; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Ronda Lilliane Boone.
