Hi Charlie:
The reason I had contacted you originally was actually re the will of Arthur CHATFIELD III. Apparently he sired an illegitimate son in 1960 in Germany by a lady called Helga and this son was mentioned in the late Arthur's will. A friend of ours, a reporter, had asked me to try to find out something genealogical about Arthur and it looks like he was probably the son of Arthur II.
However the quest now is really to just find Mark son of Helga, German-born son, if he is still living and that would seem to require looking into German birth records and voters' lists. The surname Mark goes by is unknown.
In any case, many thanks for looking into this matter. If our friend ever does find Mark, I may get back to you if he is interested in his CHATFIELD background.
