"Former Taoiseach (Prime Minister of Ireland)
Bertie linked to sale of local HQ; Mystery sale: 72 Amiens Street which was transferred to party trustees and then sold for [pounds sterling]130,000. BERTIE Ahern has denied claims that he made £30,000 from the sale of the city centre headquarters of his Fianna Fail constituency organisation. But the Taoiseach failed to inform the Mahon Tribunal of his links to the house deal which netted £130,000 after he and two other party trustees took control of it."
-----
Moved from Ireland between 1858-60 and lived in the Lambeth area of London.
He was a surgeon's assistant at time of death and died in what was probably his place of work.
In the 1860's he was a commission agent and seemed to move around south London
quite often.
