BERTIE Ahern has denied claims that he made £30,000 from the sale of the city centre headquarters of his Fianna Fail constituency organisation. But the Taoiseach failed to inform the Mahon Tribunal of his links to the house deal which netted £130,000 after he and two other party trustees took control of it."

Moved from Ireland between 1858-60 and lived in the Lambeth area of London.
He was a surgeon's assistant at time of death and died in what was probably his place of work.
In the 1860's he was a commission agent and seemed to move around south London
quite often.

McCaul), formerly of Bridge Cottage, Lorrimore-road, Walworth, Surrey, Commission Traveller to a Coal Merchant, then of No. 2, Stamford terrace, Sloan-street, Dover-road, Surrey, having an office at No. 6, Mark-lane, Fenchurch-street, London, Commission and Shipping Agent, carrying on business under the style of A. McCaul and Co., but having no parther, then lodging at Webber-row, Blackfriar's-road, and late of No. 6, St. James's-terrace, Waterloo-road, Lambeth, Surrey, having an office at No. 24, Martin's lane, Cannon-street, London, carrying on the same business under the style aforesaid.
