Obituary:
Ronald W. BEVINGTON, 70, of Terre Haute, died Monday, July 21, 2003, in Meadows Manor East. He had worked in computer programming at Poplar Subscription Service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille, in 1981. He was born March 11, 1933 in Bunker Hill to Clarence BEVINGTON and Sylvia BEVINGTON. Survivors include one step-daughter, Ebba ADAMSON and her husband, Perry, of Terre Haute; two step grandchildren; one step great granddaughter; one brother, Verlin BEVINGTON of Bunker Hill; four sisters, Maxine BARGERHUFF of Peru, Arlene LEWIS of Bunker Hill, Carolyn NORRIS of Indianapolis and Phyllis WHEELER of Missouri. He was also preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Dale BEVINGTON and Galen BEVINGTON. He served four years in the U.S Navy during the Korean War and in the U.S. Air Force for six years. Services are 1 p.m. Wednesday in Roselawn Funeral Home at 7500 N. Clinton St., with the Rev. Jeff Harpole officiating. Burial is in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation is 11 a.m. to service time Wednesday in the Funeral Home.
