My Father was put in the Clark Co. Children's Home when he was 2 years old. There are several CENSUS records which have him living in the home. He was a foster child to several families through the years but was kept mostly by Ruth Davis and her husband. He was living with Ruth in North Hampton, OH when his mother passed away. We visited Ruth many times when I was growing up. Her husband passed away and she lived by herself . She gave my father her house in North Hampton and continued to live there for years until she passed away. My parents looked after Ruth in her older years and cared for her in their home when she became sick in her elderly state.

Paul served in the US Navy during WWII.
He worked for Meadow Gold Dairy until he became a fireman with the Springfield Fire Department in 1955. Paul retired from the Springfield Fire Department in 1983.
He enjoyed boating, gardening and bird watching.
