Memorial from a daughter to her mother.
From Carol L. Foster
My mother, Betty CHATFIELD, was getting on in years and was not in the best of health, but that does not ease the sorrow I feel over losing her. After losing my Dad 41 years ago, she and her twin sister Helen, who also suddenly found herself alone, pooled their resources and moved in together. Not only were they sisters, but they were best friends and did everything together. Helen's death 13 years ago hit Mom very hard, and she was alone again. Mom had to endure another tragic event, the sudden death of my brother Jim four years ago. Just last year another sister, Roberta, passed away. There is comfort in feeling that Mom is joining her husband, son and sisters. And, in the words of my cousin Linda, they are reuniting, partying and having a good time up there. In loving memory of my mother, Carol Foster
41 years ago is 1973. the year Clarence died!
