CHATFIELD-MAGNEY. 10 Oct 1934.
A blue and white scheme was chosen for the wedding of Miss Linda Magney. only daughter of the late Mr. J. B. Magney and Mrs. Magney, of Bellevue Hill, to Mr. Leo CHATFIELD, son of the late Mr. E. Chatfield and Mrs. CHATFIELD, of Bexley, which was celebrated last night at the Holy Cross Church, Woollahra, by the Rev. Father Cullender.
The bride's long gown was of ivory satin matelasse, the skirt ending in a sunray train. A veil of tulle was arranged in halo fashion over the head and caught at each side with clusters of orange blossoms. She carried an armlet of white azaleas. Mr. John Magney gave his sister away. There were two bridesmaids, the Misses Adele Kidd and Ursula Durack (Melbourne), whose frocks of turquoise blue crepe were worn with halo hats of tulle to match, banded with silver. Red rases and blue delphiniums formed their bouquets. Mr. M. Wallington was best man and Mr. Jack Hunter groomsman.
Two hundred guests were received by the bride's mother at the Wentworth after the ceremony. Mrs Magney wore royal blue angel skin lace and a hat of the same shade, and carried cyclamen flowers. The bridegroom's mother was in black romaine and a black hat, and her bouquet was of red roses and corn-flowers.

THE effective sunray treatment of the train was an interesting feature of the bridal gown of ivory satin matelasse worn by Miss Linda Magney, only daughter of the late Mr. J. B. Magney and Mrs. Magney, of Bellevue Hill, for her wedding on Wednesday evening to Mr. Leo Chatfield at the Holy Cross Church, Woollahra.
White azaleas made an unusual bridal bouquet. Miss Adele Kidd and Miss Ursula Durack (Melbourne) attended the bride, and they were in turquoise blue crepe with halo hats of tulle.
