Mrs. Ella G. Gowen died this morning in St. Joseph Hospital following a week's illness.
She taught grade school at Galva, Illinois for several years before coming to Santa Ana 35 years ago.
She was a socially prominent resident of Santa Ana. She was a member of Hermosa chapter Order of Eastern Star; a member and past president of Santa Ana Ebell; and, a member of Chapter AB, PEO.
