Hélene Ellinor Clare Bullen-Smith (nee Kidston), scion of the BLG family of Kidston of Redenham Park, died at her home, 26 June, 2005. She was aged 101 years.
She was the second daughter of Capt Archibald Glen Kidston (1871-1913), The Black Watch, by his wife Hélene Adeline Blanche Chapman (later Lady Windham) (of the BLG family Chapman of Donhead House).
She married (i) 1925 (div. 1933), Major Philip Pinckney Curtis, MC, scion of the Curtis baronets, by whom she had issue; married (ii) 1933 (div. 1950), Rear-Admiral Philip Esmonde Phillips, CB, DSO, by whom she had one son; married (iii) 1952, Major-General David Charles Bullen-Smith, MC, of Bullington House, Sutton Scotney, Hants.
The funeral takes place at Bullington Church, 9 July, 2005
