Hi Colin

I was very interested to come across the photo and comments on the Google Blog.

The photo is of Wilma and Ngaio taken at Ngaio's home at Taurarua Tce in Auckland. Roma, my mother, is Ngaio's younger sister. Roma qualified as a medical Doctor and married Tom Roberts, who was also a Doctor. They spent most of their married life in Featherston, in the Wairarapa, where Tom was a GP, and Roma was a Doctor for the Health Department. Tom died in 2007 and Roma, aged 91, lives in the Retirement Village in Masterton. They had 2 children, John, who lives in Wanganui, and Mary (me). I live in Masterton, married to Rod Oakly and we have 1 son, Donald. We have contact with Chatfield relations living at various locations in the North Island .Roma was very excited when she saw this family history. Roma does have a family tree going back a number of generations.

I would be interested in your Chatfield connections.
