Marriage
On Monday, 5th of June, by the Rev. William Curnow, at the Wesleyan Chapel, York-street, Sydney, Robert Sindel, store-keeper, of Queanbeyan and Manaro, to Mary Anne Galbraith, youngest daughter of the late Henry Galbraith, of London, formerly of Glasgow, and sister-in-law to the late Henry Chatfield (Nee ELEANOR GALBRAITH), commander of the ill-fated steamship Cawarra.

DEATH OF MRS. H. CHATFIELD.
The death is announced of Mrs Henry CHATFIELD, relict of the late Captain CHATFIELD, formerly of the old Australian Steam Navigation Company. The deceased lady was the daughter of Mr H Galbraith, a prominent journalist. Born in London in the year 1829, she came to Australia and was married to the late Captain CHATFIELD, who was lost in the wreck of the steamer Cawarra on the Oyster-bank, Newcastle, in the year 1866. The late Mrs Chatfield died at her residence, Wallangra, Ocean street, Woollahra, on Saturday last. Tho deceased leaves a family of five daughters as follows -Mrs E Gjedsted (Western Australia), Mrs J C Waine, Mrs G R Blundell (Melbourne), Mrs C Edwards, and one unmarried. The funeral took place at Waverley yesterday, the remains being interred in the Church of England portion of the cemetery. There was a good attendance of relatives and personal friends of the family. Numerous wreaths were placed upon the coffin. The Rev W I Carr Smith conducted an impressive ser- vice at the grave. The deceased lady had for a number of years been a regular attendant at St. James' Church, King-street, and took an active interest in the various branches of the church organisation.
