Kenneth Chatfield
Addison. The funeral of Kenneth Chatfield who died at Mount Morris State Hospital, Thursday at 3 a.m. will be held Sunday at 2 p. m. from the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs, Samuel Chatfield of Tuscarora street. The Reverend John V. Axtell, pastor of the Presbyterian Church of which the deceased was a member for the past 16 years, will officiate and interment will be made in Addison Rural Cemetery. The Odd Fellows Lodge will attend in a body and have charge of the committal service of the grave.
Mr. Chatfield had been ill for five years and was first a patient at Pleasant Valley Sanatorium, and then went to a hospital at Raybrook in the Adirondack Mountains for several months. Two years last August he was admitted to the Mount Morris State Hospital. a brave and patient young man, he made a desperate effort for his life. He had legions of friends who are grieved by his death.
His sister, Mrs. Mabel Chatfield Archer and her 12 year old daughter, Mary Charlotte Archer, both patients at Mount Morris State Hospital, returned home here, Thursday afternoon to attend the funeral.
Other survivors than those mentioned in Thursday's Leader are a niece and three nephews, Catherine and Richard Archer, who make their home at the Chatfield residence since the death of their father several years ago, and Robert and Lee Shumway of South Street, Addison.
