Darrell Franklin CHATFIELD, Sr., 77, of Ashland, Kentucky, passed away Friday, November 6, 2020, at Kings Daughters Medical Center, Ashland, Kentucky.
Darrell was born March 3, 1942, a son to the late Homer and Wilma Chatfield.
He is survived by his wife, Darella (Horn) CHATFIELD, whom he married on October 16, 2010.
Mr. Chatfield was a 1961 graduate of Ironton High School and was a meat cutter for Tipton's Grocery. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Ashland, Kentucky.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Darrell CHATFIELD, Jr.; two brothers, Jerry Chatfield and Ron Chatfield.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Darla Chatfield of Pedro, Ohio, Melissa (Sam) Morgan of Greenup, Kentucky, and Julie (Andy) Hannan of Ironton; ten grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, November 12, 2020, at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 South 7th Street, Ironton, Ohio with Bishop Sven Berg officiating. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery in Ironton. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home.
