Margaret Louise (Chatfield) Buehler, 85, of Madison, Connecticut, formerly of Palmyra Missouri, wife of the late Donald Buehler died peacefully October 16 surrounded by her family. She was born February 26, 1928 in Palmyra, Missouri to the late Earl and Marguerite (Schroder) Chatfield. She graduated from Palmyra High School in 1946. While working at the Pentagon she met Donald Buehler and they were married in 1954. Louise and Donald lived in Palmyra, Missouri, numerous places in Iowa and Frankfort, Kentucky. She was a loving mother and housewife; and those who knew Louise will miss her unconditional love and support. She devoted her time to many charitable organizations of the Episcopal churches where she worshiped.She is survived by her two children Susan (Buehler) McCann and her husband Darryl of Madison, Connecticut and Michael Buehler and his wife Chris of Lebanon, Missouri; five grandchildren, Marisa McCann, Nathan McCann, Paul Buehler, Melanie Ann Weaver and Steven Buehler; and her sister Ethel Chatfield of Palmyra, Missouri. She was predeceased by her sister Jean (Chatfield) Irven. Her family would like to thank the staff at Waltrous Nursing Center in Madison, Connecticut for the great care and love they provided to Louise for the past two years.A graveside service will be held at Little Union Churchyard in Palmyra on November 16.
