MILO CLARK INTERMENT WITH MASONIC RITES.

J. Milo Clark, 70, died Thursday night, October 9, 1930 at Auburn Hospital from injuries he received when he was struck by an automobile earlier in the evening. Mr. Clark was the son of the late Orville & Frances Clark and was born on June 4, 1860 on the farm now occupied by Mrs. Ernest Liddiard. He grew up in this locality and attended the Munro Collegiate Institute at Elbridge. On May 29, 1889, he was married to Cora Chatfield of Hartlot who died in 1906. On September 8, 1909, Mr. Clark was married to Mrs. Flora Stone, widow of Dr. Stone of Homer who survives him.

In earlier years, he was a leading spirit in the Elbridge Grange, which was always prominent in the Patrons of Husbandry, and the deceased went all over our section attending the gatherings. In it's insurance feature he was a pioneer, so he was known far & wide. For several years, he was connected with the Farm Bureau besides attending to his own farm, which is situated a short distance from the farm on which he was born. Later, he was engaged in the Real Estate business, he continued at that one year.
The last years of his life were spent in managing an oil station connected with the garage, of his son, Harold in Elbridge Village. Here also he conducted an auto insurance business and drew patrons from the entire community. Mr. Farnham (sic) was a faithful member of Elbridge Congregational Church, having joined many years ago. He was also affiliated with the Jordan Lodge of Masons, who turned out in large numbers at the funeral.

Besides his wife, Mr. Clark is survived by 2 sons, Harold & Byron; a sister, Mrs. James Van Vechten; and a brother, Willis Clark. Services were held Sunday afternoon at the home with Masonic Services at the grave. Bearers were: John Rhoades, Elwyn Earll, John Farnham, Elwyn Maxon, John MacKaig and Clark Lannkton. Rev, H.J. Vyverberg, pastor of Congregational Church officiated. B.L. Bush & Sons, undertakers were in charge.
