Funeral services were held at the Cattermole Funeral Home at Winlock Tuesday afternoon for John Price Newbury, who died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Henry Lyon, Saturday, after an illness of five weeks, following a paralytic stroke. Mr. Newbury was born at Port Huron, Mich., December 9, 1857. For the past five years he had made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Lyon.
His survivors are two daughters; Mrs. Sadie Lyon of Cowlitz Prairie and Mrs. Mary Mieirs of Crystal Springs, N. D.; two sons, Joseph E. Newbury of Forest and Ralph Newbury of R. 1 Winlock; two sisters, Mrs. O. Smith of San Antonio, Tex. and Mrs. George Tebo of Klaber. Rev. A. Corbally of Puyallup officiated at the funeral.
