Kevin D. Paxton, 53, of Hannibal, Missouri, died at 11:00 PM Sunday, January 13, 2013 at his home.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM Friday, January 18, 2013 at Standing on the Rock Ministries on Centerville Road in Hannibal. Rev. Lance Bonnell will officiate. Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal.

Visitation will be from 6 PM to 8 PM Thursday at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home.

Mr. Paxton was born October 9, 1959, in Hannibal, MO to John Thomas and Mary Smith Paxton Sr.

He was married to Kathy A. Chatfield in Hannibal, MO. She survives.

Mr. Paxton worked as a correctional officer at the Northeast Correctional Center in Bowling Green, Missouri. He was a graduate of Hannibal High School, Class of 1979. Kevin liked barbequing, gardening, and doing construction projects. He loved spending time with his family and being with his grandkids.
