A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 24, 2005, in Tigard Foursquare Church for Thelma Jane CHATFIELD, who died July 17 at age 85.
Thelma Jane Kirsch was born March 31, 1920, in Cherokee, Iowa, and moved to Portland in 1922. She graduated from Jefferson High School and was a homemaker. She lived in Tigard and was a member of the church for the past 30 years. In 1936, she married Walter H.
Survivors include her husband; daughters, Colene Hext, Madeline Younge, Carol Drake, Linette Guiles and Denise Bates; son, Richard; sister, Geneva Eppele; 22 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
