CHATFIELD
Mrs. Mary E. Chatfield died last Friday morning at 12:45 o'clock at her home near West Dubuque, She was born near Lanesboro, Mass., 67 years ago and has been a resident of Dubuque County for 40 years, Forty-four years ago she was married in New Haven, New Haven, Conn. The surviving children are Edward, Charles, Frederick, Lucy, Nellie, Mrs. C. W. Riddle of Stanwood, Cedar, IA., and Mrs. Anna A. Woods of Rapid City, Pennington, S.D.
Mrs. CHATFIELD, throughout her long residence in Dubuque county, formed a general acquaintance. Her friends were many and the news of her death will occasion regret.
The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 and burial will be in Asbury.
