John and Bert Chatfield left Winnipeg in the 1940s and 50s. John went to Calif. with his family.
Apparently John stayed in Eastbourne maybe with Bert and his family (Arthur's brother) to finish school and did make his way to Winnipeg some years later. This would explain the multitude of photos I have of Bert and family and lovely post card picture of John as a young man. It looked like the others from Eastbourne.
I was contacted by email by the son-in-law of John who lives in Delaware just a few weeks ago through WiKitree. He has helped with that branches decendants.
