six other employees of the Gottfried
Baking Company or 1032 Union Ave.,
the Bronx, with grand larceny and
forgery in connection with a dis-
crepancy of $6,000 in the company's
books.
Two bookkeepers. of whom Chat-
field was one, three route salesmen
and a chief clerk are accused of doc-
toring the books to cover the thefts.
The six admitted in the Manhattan
Police headquarters lineup today that
they had participated in the swindle.
