My name is vick chatfield married name palmer. I am a direct descendant of percy garaway chatfield of ryde nsw australia. My parents also had two sons both of whom have sons, who in turn had a son each. Percy Garaway Chatfield was at one time the mayor of Ryde. My older brother Keith told me that our father Charles Colin Chatfield (known as Colin) told him that his father Charles had a watch that had been given to his great grandfather which had been engraved as a thank you gift from Abraham Lincoln with regard to woolen mills being imported from England. My father's first grandson was named Colin also as it was an old family name.

I would like to join the Chatfield Family History Society and purchase books 1 and 2, can any one email me the appropriate information please.
