Stanley K. Raymond, Jr. a resident of North Street passed away June 15, 2016 at the Vermont Veterans Home. Stanley was born in Springfield, Vermont on July 4, 1953 the son of Stanley K. Raymond, Sr. and Mary Grace Chatfield. He attended local schools, graduated from Hinsdale, NH High School and was a USA Army Veteran.
Stanley worked in the logging business for many years and also worked for the Book Press in Brattleboro. Stanley enjoyed hiking, fishing and camp outs. He liked football, listening to country western music and was a Three Stooges fan.
Stanley is survived by his mother Mary Grace Raymond, former wife Rosemary Lanfear-Raymond, daughter Christina Marie Raymond, brother Donald Raymond, sister Mary Brown and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Stanley K. Raymond, Sr., who died October 27, 1997, brothers Richard D. Raymond who died June 27, 2014, Ronald Raymond who died October 9, 2011 and David and Larry Raymond and sister Connie Fordham.
Funeral services for Stanley will be held Tuesday July 5, 2015 at 11am at the Vermont Veterans Home in Bennington. Interment will take place in Green River Cemetery in Greenfield, MA.
