The deceased was liked by the other inmates, and WAS WELL LOOKED AFTER. frequently had fits. The same night witness heard a nurse say that he had fractured his thigh. Witness was in the room when, which Chatfield was lying in bed. she went and examined him. He was groaning, but did not say anything. Witness found great lump on deceased's hip. and thought it either a dislocation or fracture of the hip bone. She called Nurse Farr, who also examined ..
