He had married in 1919 to a girl whose first husband was still alive (although Edward didn't know about it at the time), there's a bigamy case reported in the newspaper here - https://bit.ly/2Mi3Q8v - there is also another son for Edward & his first 'wife', Edward C Parks born on 22 Oct 1919 in Redhill, Surrey.
