Frederica L. CHATFIELD, daughter of the late Dr. Clinton Chatfield and Margaret White, passed away yesterday afternoon. The family came to Herkimer nearly 50 years ago and established a home on 324 North Prospect Street, where Miss Chatfield resided up until four years ago. She was a woman of friendly traits and neighborly qualities and always ready to serve any worthy cause. She was a devout member of Christ Church and as a member of Guild Society took entire care of the choir vestments and for the pleasure and advantages of the choir ever worked. Three years ago she gave the church a beautiful oak wood screen in memory of her sister Mary Elizabeth Chatfield. She was a member of the Myrtle Chapter, Eastern Star, whose members will attend the funeral in a body, meeting at Masonic Club rooms at 1:30 pm.
