Heaven received another Angel on November 20, 2016, when Karamine (Karebear) Chatfield Richardson, 43, of Roanoke went to be with the Lord following a brief illness.
She was born Feb 4, 1973, to Gabrielle C. and the late Stephen N. Chatfield. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her aunt, Imogene Jones. Her memory will be honored by those she left behind: her mother Gabrielle, daughter Jacqueline CHATFIELD, her precious granddaughter Kinslee, cousin Debra Call and family, best friend Angela Cromer, special friend Anthony Butler, and numerous other friends including her Lewis Gale Rehab (4 East) family. Karamine was a caring and compassionate nurse employed at Lewis Gale for over 14 years. She had a heart of gold, a passion for helping others, and always wore a smile. Her love for her family, pets, and friends was unconditional and without limits. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Karamine's honor to Kinslee Chatfields's Trust. For information email kinsleechatfieldtrust@yahoo.com. A "Celebration of Karamine's Life" gathering will be held at Mill Mountain Star on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 2 p.m. The family would like to thank the nursing and medical staff at Lewis Gale for the extraordinary care and support provided to Karamine and her family.
