KEPPLER, Joann C. 73, of Springfield, passed away Tuesday evening, March 12, 2013 in her residence. She was born in Taylor Township, Union Co., Ohio on October 27, 1939, the daughter of the late John C. Champer and Rosalie M. (Chatfield) Williams.
Jo worked at several businesses in the area including Tweed & Twill and Sears, Roebuck & Co. She was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Star of the East, Rebekah Lodge, and volunteered for many years at Clark Memorial Home.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Earnest E. "Ernie" Keppler; two daughters, Tina Layne (Richard Lee) Martin of Springfield and Gloria G (Alan) Marcinonis of Columbus; a son, Anthony Earnest Keppler of Springfield; a sister, Sarah Wolf York (James York) of Raleigh, North Carolina; two very special grandchildren, Alex William Martin of Louisville, Kentucky and Carlene Victoria Martin of Springfield; and life-long friends, Phyllis Bersebach of Gahanna and Beverly Stewart of Springfield.
