Miranda K. Carmona practices in the areas of estate planning, business and tax planning for corporations, limited liability companies, and partnerships, taxation, probate, and tax-exempt organizations. Ms. Carmona has been a speaker at numerous professional and community seminars regarding estate planning, corporate organizations, and tax issues.
Ms. Carmona received her Juris Doctor with a certificate in Tax from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2004. She graduated from Kansas State University with a Master of Accountancy in 2001 and with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2000. In 2008 she successfully completed the Uniform Certified Public Accountants Examination.
Ms. Carmona was admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Kansas in 2004. She is a member of the Kansas and Topeka Bar Associations and is active in the Women Attorney Association of Topeka and Kansas Women Attorney Association. She is also serves on the Boards of the Stormont Vail Foundation and the Topeka Public Schools Foundation.
Ms. Carmona is a 2009 graduate of Leadership Greater Topeka and was named one of Greater Topeka’s 20 Under 40 for 2011.
