Camilla Younger is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Charles Frank Johnston Younger and Joanna Chatfield.3,4 She married, firstly, Richard Eustace Parker Bowles, son of Derek Henry Parker Bowles and Ann de Trafford, before 1974.1 She married, secondly, Charles Edward Peter Neil Wood, 3rd Earl of Halifax, son of Charles Ingram Courtenay Wood, 2nd Earl of Halifax and Ruth Alice Hannah Mary Primrose, on 17 November 1976.1
From before 1974, her married name became Parker Bowles. From 17 November 1976, her married name became Wood. As a result of her marriage, Camilla Younger was styled as Countess of Halifax on 19 March 1980.
