The funeral of Mrs. Alice Chatfield Gonia of Whitewater, Wisconsin, who passed away Jan. 7, 1937, was held at the Adams Church Sunday afternoon with interment in the Adams Cemetery.
Alice Jane Chatfield was born June 22nd 1873, at Adams and was the daughter of Silas and Catherine (Kling) CHATFIELD, being one of seven children. All are deceased but the youngest son, Seneca B. Chatfield.
She was married Feb. 16, 1993, to Levi Gonia of Black River Falls, whom she leaves to mourn her loss, and two daughters Mrs. Katherine (Hjolmer) Olson of Fort Atkinson, Wis. and J.C. Ralsten of Indiana; also six grandchildren; one brother Seneca B. CHATFIELD, and many other relatives and friends.
