ROSEVILLE: Donald G. Headley, 80 of Roseville died Friday, April 1, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. He was blessed to have been born, lived his entire life, and die in a location dear to him. The original Headley home was just yards from the home in which he passed away.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Ruth Ellen (Crum) Headley; his three daughters: Donna Gillard of Zanesville , Jean Miller (Brad) of Roseville, Mary Ann Headley of Crooksville; his son Michael Headley (Kristi) of Zanesville; his grandchildren: Byron Gillard, Bryson Gillard, Brydon Gillard, Aaron Miller(Hillary), Amanda Hatfield (Jeremy), and Owen Headley; his newest joys -two Great-Grandchildren Karson Hatfield and Kenlea Miller as well as a loving family friend Ginny Miller. He also has two surviving siblings: Bernard Headley (Jane) and Helen Toth (Marcus) and multiple other nieces and nephews.
He was one of ten children to Myrtle (Swingle) Headley and Walter Headley. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his siblings: Edith CHATFIELD, Mary Pearson, Forrest Headley, Charles Headley, Walter Samuel Headley, Mildred Pearson, Ruth Whalen and special friend Karl Miller.
Donald enjoyed spending time with his family when not working. He spent many years working as a truck dispatcher/bookkeeper as well as serving as Brushcreek Township Clerk for 32 years. Although retired, Donald continued to enjoy working from home as a bookkeeper for Polk Scrap Iron & Metal Company until becoming too ill to continue.
