Dorcas M. CHATFIELD, 86, Hensonville [NY], died April 3 in Durham [NY]. She was born April 15, 1902 in Ashland [NY], the daughter of Manley and Geditha Vorhees Cook.

Funeral services were held Thursday, April 6 at 1 p.m. at the Hensonville United Methodist church with the Rev. Richard Griffen, pastor, and the Rev. Newton Ford, officiating. Interment was at the Maplecrest [NY] cemetery.

Mrs. Chatfield is survived by two daughters: Mildred Drum of Ashland and Louise Cunningham of Durham; 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Willias [Willis] D. Chatfield and her daughter Katherine Chatfield and son John Chatfield.
