Travelled from Rangoon 1st class arriving London 02 Apr 1927 with wife and daughter Pauline.
He was listed as having been a permanent resident of Beroda, India and a member of the Indian Army.

Ronald fought in World War I with the 5th Leicester Regiment and apparently lived there for the rest of his life. His pension record indicates he had three years in the Officers Training Corps at Bridlington School, where he was found living at the time of the 1911 census.

Ronald Alfred Webb serving in the Northamptonshire Regiment in 1918, the King approved his admission to the Indian Army on 16 January 1918 where he served in the 98th Infantry. According to Wikipedia the 98th served in British East Africa during WW1. He retired from the Army in December 1922 as a Captain. Haven't found any mention of him with the Leicestershire Regiment in the London Gazette and the only other man I found with the same name served in the RAF during WW2. 5 Leicesters would have been TA, he may have been with them before the war started as he is granted the temporary rank of 2nd Lt. in September 1914 (Last paragraph from Kevin John CHATFIELD, Apr 2013.)
